About the project

Our Role

We collaborated closely with HealthBegins to design and develop the Social Needs Investment Lab, delivering:

  • A user-friendly website built on Webflow.
  • Searchable and filterable functionality for assessment reports.
  • A distinct yet connected branding approach that aligned with HealthBegins and Elevance Health.

Challenges

  • Complex Branding Requirements: The site needed to be co-branded with HealthBegins as the primary brand and Elevance Health as the secondary, while remaining distinct enough to feel like its own entity.
  • Accessibility and Scalability: Designed to comply with ADA standards, the site required the flexibility to accommodate future membership models, video case studies, and other resource expansions.
  • Streamlined Experience: The landing page needed to highlight the depth and breadth of evidence available, minimizing clicks to value, akin to the functionality of platforms like Airbnb.

Solutions

  1. Custom Branding: Developed a design system that utilized HealthBegins' existing branding as a foundation, incorporating new color palettes and visual elements to differentiate the Lab.
  2. User-Focused Design: Designed the landing page with a focus on:some text
    • A searchable library as the central feature.
    • Card-based design inspired by platforms like Yelp and Airbnb for intuitive navigation.
    • Clear content hierarchy to emphasize the Lab’s resources and impact.
  3. Webflow Implementation: Delivered a responsive, bilingual website in English and French, with CMS capabilities to manage blogs, events, and whitepapers.
  4. Future-Ready Architecture: Incorporated a structure to support potential membership models, where certain resources could later be restricted to members.

Results

  • Successful Launch: The Social Needs Investment Lab is live, providing users with a seamless way to explore evidence-based assessments.
  • Positive Feedback: The intuitive design has been well-received, laying the groundwork for future enhancements such as video case studies and live convenings.
