About the project
Our Role
Over the past year, we have partnered with LightOn to enhance their brand identity and digital presence. Our contributions include:
- Product Design Support for Paradigm: Collaborating closely with LightOn's development team, we refined the user experience and interface of the Paradigm platform to ensure it meets enterprise standards and user expectations.
- Marketing Website Redesign: We undertook a comprehensive redesign of LightOn's marketing website, transitioning it from an internally developed site to a polished, professional platform that accurately reflects LightOn's stature in the AI industry.
- Brand Identity Overhaul: Developed a new brand identity featuring long-exposure light photography, creating dynamic visuals that resonate with the company's name and innovative spirit. The style guide includes guidance on generating these visuals through prompting, ensuring consistency across all media.
Challenges
LightOn's original website was developed using Odoo by their internal team, who, despite their leadership capabilities, lacked formal design training. This resulted in a website that did not adequately represent LightOn's position as a leading European AI company, potentially leading to misconceptions about their expertise and offerings.
Solutions
To address these challenges, we implemented the following strategies:
- Brand Redesign Process: Utilizing our established brand redesign methodology, we crafted a modern and sophisticated brand identity. The use of long-exposure light photography provided abstract yet dynamic visuals, aligning with LightOn's name and technological focus.
- Comprehensive Style Guide: Developed a detailed style guide that includes instructions for creating consistent visuals through prompting, ensuring uniformity across all platforms and materials.
- Balanced Website Content: Designed the website to clearly communicate that LightOn offers more than just their Paradigm platform, highlighting their diverse services and white-glove experiences. We analyzed how similar companies present multiple offerings to effectively position LightOn's full range of services.
- Advanced CMS Configuration: Implemented a robust content management system to handle blogs, events, whitepapers, and more, facilitating easy updates and scalability.
- Bilingual Support: Ensured the website is fully functional in both English and French, catering to LightOn's diverse clientele and enhancing accessibility.
Results
The redesigned website has been successfully launched, offering a professional and accurate representation of LightOn's capabilities and market position. The new brand identity has been applied across various collateral, including sales decks, HTML email templates, and conference materials, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand presence.
Additionally, LightOn has achieved significant milestones, such as becoming Europe's first listed generative AI company with their IPO on Euronext Growth Paris, underscoring their leadership in the AI sector.
